Training

"The Knights Templar - Brief - Training"

The Training Regiment for The Knights Templar MC is simple, tough and even tougher. Expect to push yourself to the limits. This is not your average MC and certainly not for the faint hearted. If you make the decision to join The Knights Templar…you’re joining not only the world’s toughest MC, you’re also joining the world’s toughest elite underground private militia, and we will always ‘train to win’.

The Templar Knights ‘train to protect and train to survive.’ As a Templar Knight, you must expect to model your private life, family, friends and commitments around what’s expected of you. Your training comes first, even before your family. You must be willing to ‘serve our father’. Although, we’re not going to throw you out if you have a family emergency, or someone ailing, a funeral to attend etc.

You must have a good reason to miss a training camp. If you do miss a training weekend, you must prove through a series of extra tests and exercises that you’re still keeping up with the rest of The Knights. These tough initial training periods become more infrequent, as you progress as a Soldier Of Christ. However, it’s a commitment you must be willing to keep up with.

Don’t think this is going to be boring. Although it’s a tough gig, if you have ‘the right stuff you’re going to enjoy pushing yourself to greater heights, whether you’re male or female.. We have two training camp options, each time we train. You can do just one boot camp, although we encourage two.

You’ll also enjoy the Comradery. There will be plenty of socializing after training. This will also form a part of your training regiment. A Knights Templar must always be aware of their immediate environment. As both a Christian and a Templar Knight, you’ll have enemies. Although it’s our intentions to bless our enemies at all times, there are times when we will have to do what we never wish to do, or thought we would have to do.

Martial Arts

Becoming a member of The Knights Templar is a serious commitment and one that should not be taken lightly. A Templar Knight is representing all Knights Templar, whether they’re engaged in a mission or conducting civilian duties. The Knights Templar have an image to uphold in society. Its reputation can not be tarnished by the irresponsible act of one or two of its members, well meaning or not. Remember the afflicted man who shot all those innocent people on an island, then claimed he was a Knights Templar! This is the reason that all Knights Templar are required to adhere to a set Standard of Protocol. Yet, just as importantly, they must also be extremely fit and strong, in order to achieve success in every aided mission. Below is a brief of your fitness regiment and the requirements that all Members of Our Knights Templar MC must follow.

1. SEMPA MARTIAL ARTS
First and foremost, all KTMC (Knights Templar Motorcycle Club), Members are required to learn Sempa Martial Arts to black belt level. It’s important to be able to defend yourself and innocent members of the public. It’s not a good look for the Knights Templar if you can’t, whether you’re a man or a woman. If you already belong to a Martial Arts club, you can continue with that club. You’ll be expected to provide evidence of your progress in belt graduations. If your chosen form of Martial Arts doesn’t use belt graduations, evidence in the form of certification must be provided. You can also join a club of your own choice. However, Sempa Martial Arts is recommended at some stage, as it embodies what we consider to be the top 5 Martial Arts in the world, providing totality of mind, body, soul and spirit. Sempa can involve everything you do in daily life, from hobbies and careers to sports and meditation. A black belt in Sempa can use it to maim, even kill an individual, or a group, should their life be at risk. However, they can also place themselves in a calm meditative state, when threatened, thus minimizing any risk of escalating any potential situation to an unecessary level. This, in turn, minimizes the risk of ‘tunnel vision’ and risk to other members of the public and of course other Knights Templar.
